Pollock Park and Scottish Cows

Finally a sunny Sunday: direction Pollock Country Park. The Burell Collection being closed for restructuration the goal is to walk around and see the typical Scottish cows. The face to face with the Highland cows is a must and there are impressive: ginger and giant.

The park is the largest in the Glasgow area, well sustained and where animals roam freely (except cows... unfortunately) and birds sing loud.

Situated in the south, Pollok Country Park is a huge attraction during the weekend with its stunning country house, woodland walks, bike trails, and more.

I was not expecting a parc that big, I spent more than 3 hours walking around, discovering the Pollock House, the Garden, and having a picnic on the board of the river. 

Pollock is a quiet place, relaxing with some good point of views.

It is only 15 minutes of train from Glasgow and a total mind trip when you need some fresh air.
