Unexpected : Britannia Panopticon Music Hall

The oldest surviving music hall in the world was also a freakshow, theater of human phenomenon.

I wanted to visit the Britannia Panopticon since I arrived, it was not until my fourth visit that the music hall was open.
The building is maintained by volunteers, some sets, costumes, objects of the epoch are exposed.
The Britannia Panopticon is spectacular, it's a real step backward. You can even have a coffee or a beer.

In one of the lanes parallel to the building, a plaque in memory of Stan Laurel is fixed on the wall.
Stan Laurel made his stage debut here performing a comedy routine. The Panopticon hosts regular Laurel and Hardy evenings in his honor.
